Gujarat-based material handling equipment and transmission products maker Elecon Engineering has bagged orders worth Rs 24.32 crore from two firms in October.

The company’s material handling equipment division has bagged an order worth Rs 17.13 crore from NMDC for the supply, erection and commissioning of two numbers lump ore stackers including initial spares one each for their Bacheli Complex & Kirandul Complex Projects.

The same division has been awarded a contract worth Rs 7.19 crore from Tecpro Systems for wagon trippler along with side arm charger and mandatory spares for Harihar project.

Elecon Engineering Company (EECL) is a market leader in the domestic gears segment with around 25% market share in the domestic transmission equipment segment.
