PVR shines on raising Rs 800 crore via QIP

PVR is currently trading at Rs. 1558.25, up by 33.30 points or 2.18% from its previous closing of Rs. 1524.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1547.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1573.25 and Rs. 1500.00 respectively. So far 1449708 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2082.75 on 20-Feb-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 706.52 on 19-May-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1573.25 and Rs. 1410.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 8594.02 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 18.79%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 65.11% and 16.10% respectively.

PVR has raised Rs 800 crore by issuing shares to a set of investors through qualified institutional placement (QIP). The QIP witnessed an allotment of over 55.55 lakh equity shares to eligible qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) at a price of Rs 1,440 apiece.

PVR is the largest and most premium film exhibition company in India. Since its inception in 1997, the brand has redefined the way entertainment is consumed in the country.
