Ashok Leyland reports 47% fall in Q3 consolidated net profit

Ashok Leyland has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2020.

The company has reported net loss at Rs 19.38 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net profit at Rs 27.75 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 20.05% at Rs 4847.57 crore for Q3FY21 as compared Rs 4037.98 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 46.85% in its net profit attributable to owners at Rs 14.24 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net profit at Rs 26.79 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 15.20% at Rs 6000.28 crore for Q3FY21 as compared Rs 5208.53 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
