BHEL’s water filtration plant at its facility in Bhopal at Madhya Pradesh reported a chlorine gas leak. The situation is under control and efforts are on to plug the gas leakage. Police, fire brigade personnel and district administration officials have reached the spot.
Three persons reported irritation in their eyes following the leakage from the plant and are undergoing treatment at the Jai Prakash Hospital. BHEL's facility in Bhopal manufactures a wide range of electrical equipment.
