Phillips Carbon Black soars on commissioning two specialty black lines at Palej

Phillips Carbon Black is currently trading at Rs. 202.20, up by 4.60 points or 2.33% from its previous closing of Rs. 197.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 200.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 208.00 and Rs. 200.00 respectively. So far 134773 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 212.40 on 09-Feb-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 54.20 on 24-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 208.00 and Rs. 191.45 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3485.53 crore.

Phillips Carbon Black has commissioned two specialty black lines at Palej, in Gujarat for production of wide range of specialty black products totalling about 32,000 MTPA to service the growing needs of its customers.

Phillips Carbon Black is the largest manufacturer and supplier of carbon black in the country catering to the needs of elastomer, plastic, paints and ink manufacturing industries.
