Praj Industries jumps on bagging order to set up syrup-based ethanol plant from Godavari Biorefineries

Praj Industries is currently trading at Rs. 195.65, up by 3.65 points or 1.90% from its previous closing of Rs. 192.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 190.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 202.95 and Rs. 190.00 respectively. So far 101745 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 207.45 on 09-Apr-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 52.70 on 18-May-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 207.45 and Rs. 188.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3619.96 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 32.92%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 28.37% and 38.71% respectively.

Praj Industries has bagged an order to set up a syrup-based ethanol plant from Godavari Biorefineries in Karnataka. As a part of this project, Praj will expand the existing ethanol manufacturing capacity of Godavari Biorefineries from 400 KLPD (kilo litre per day) to 600 KLPD, using sugarcane syrup.
