Axis Bank reports consolidated net profit of Rs 2,941 crore in Q4

Axis Bank has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2021.

The bank has reported a net profit at Rs 2,677.06 crore for the quarter under review against net loss of Rs 1,387.78 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank marginally decreased by 0.03% at Rs 20,213.46 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 20,219.57 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the bank has reported net profit at Rs 2,941.41 crore for the quarter under review against net loss of Rs 1,262.43 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank marginally increased by 1.17% at Rs 21,028.45 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 20,786.23 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2021, the bank has reported over 4-jump in its net profit at Rs 6,588.50 crore as compared to Rs 1,627.22 crore for the previous year. Total income of the bank marginally increased by 0.40% at Rs 78,483.49 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 78,171.72 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.

For the year ended March 31, 2021, on the consolidated basis, the bank has reported around 4-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 7,195.50 crore as compared to Rs 1,853.11 crore for the previous year. Total income of the bank marginally increased by 0.99% at Rs 80,847.94 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 80,057.67 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.
