Symphony gains on reporting 55% rise in Q4 consolidated net profit

Symphony is currently trading at Rs. 1186.70, up by 6.15 points or 0.52% from its previous closing of Rs. 1180.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1180.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1208.80 and Rs. 1180.55 respectively. So far 2199 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1529.65 on 03-Mar-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 763.25 on 18-May-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1320.45 and Rs. 1170.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 8330.13 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 73.25%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 14.60% and 12.15% respectively.

Symphony has reported a rise of 8.89% in its net profit at Rs 49 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 45 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 30.95% at Rs 220 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 168 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 55% in its net profit attributable to owners at Rs 62 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 40 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 27.78% at Rs 345 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 270 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2021, the company has reported a fall of 34.41% in its net profit at Rs 122 crore as compared to Rs 186 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 31.32% at Rs 524 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 763 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.

For the year ended March 31, 2021, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 41.21% in its net profit attributable to owners at Rs 107 crore as compared to Rs 182 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 19.53% at Rs 931 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 1157 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.
