DCB Bank surges on reporting 13% rise in Q4 net profit

DCB Bank is currently trading at Rs. 93.80, up by 3.05 points or 3.36% from its previous closing of Rs. 90.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 91.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 93.95 and Rs. 91.10 respectively. So far 207051 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 126.50 on 06-Jan-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 58.10 on 26-May-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 93.95 and Rs. 89.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2898.97 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 14.88%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 53.58% and 31.54% respectively.

DCB Bank has reported a rise of 13.31% in its net profit at Rs 77.91 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 68.76 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the bank decreased by 4.02% at Rs 971.16 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 1011.79 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2021, the bank has reported 0.64% fall in its net profit of Rs 335.79 crore as against Rs 337.94 crore for the previous year. Total income of the bank marginally decreased by 0.28% at Rs 3916.71 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 3927.73 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.
