International Combustion (India) informs about temporary suspension of operations

Pursuant to Regulation 30 of the Securities & Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, read with the Company’s Policy on Determination of Materiality of Events & Information for Disclosure to Stock Exchanges, International Combustion (India) has informed that, due to the mandatory lockdown imposed by the Government of West Bengal for containment of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the operations at the Heavy Engineering Division manufacturing plant of the Company situated at Baidyabati, District Hooghly, West Bengal, have been temporarily suspended with effect from 16th May, 2021. The Registered-cum-Corporate Office of the Company situated at Kolkata, West Bengal, has also been observing physical lockdown and work-from-home with effect from 17th May, 2021 due to the aforementioned reason. The impact of the aforementioned temporary suspension of operations at the Baidyabati plant cannot be quantified at the moment. However, the same is not expected to be substantial on the business of the Company.
