PVR jumps despite reporting consolidated net loss of Rs 289 crore in Q4

PVR is currently trading at Rs. 1340.30, up by 17.25 points or 1.30% from its previous closing of Rs. 1323.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1323.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1365.00 and Rs. 1320.10 respectively. So far 139278 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1592.00 on 21-Jan-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 925.01 on 11-Jun-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1365.00 and Rs. 1278.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 8100.21 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 17.06%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 67.10% and 15.84% respectively.

PVR has reported net loss at Rs 280.33 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to net loss of Rs 75.62 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 60.88% at Rs 251.13 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 641.95 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported net loss attributed to the owners at Rs 289.12 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to net loss of Rs 74.49 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 60.22% at Rs 263.26 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 661.78 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2021, the company has reported net loss at Rs 723.50 crore as compared to net profit Rs 30.16 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 79% at Rs 698.47 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 3327.22 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.

For the year ended March 31, 2021, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported net loss attributed to the owners at Rs 747.79 crore as compared to net profit at Rs 27.30 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 78.29% at Rs 749.35 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 3452.23 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.
