SBI inches up on planning to auction two NPA accounts next month to recover dues

State Bank of India is currently trading at Rs. 429.85, up by 0.20 points or 0.05% from its previous closing of Rs. 429.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 429.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 432.65 and Rs. 427.55 respectively. So far 190696 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 442.00 on 03-Jun-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 175.55 on 24-Sep-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 436.50 and Rs. 417.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 383892.17 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 57.63%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 34.54% and 7.83% respectively.

State Bank of India (SBI) is planning to auction two non-performing asset (NPA) accounts next month to recover dues of over Rs 313 crore. The two accounts to be put up for e-auction on August 6 are Bhadreshwar Vidyut (BVPL) with a loan outstanding of Rs 262.73 crore and GOL Offshore with Rs 50.75 crore dues.

In terms of the bank's policy on sale on financial assets, in line with the regulatory guidelines, the bank places these accounts for sale to ARCs/banks/NBFCs/FIs, on the terms and conditions indicated there against. The reserve price for the auction of Bhadreshwar Vidyut is set at Rs 100.12 crore and for GOL Offshore at Rs 51 crore.
