Reliance Industries slips on reporting 7% fall in Q1 consolidated net profit

Reliance Industries is currently trading at Rs. 2089.95, down by 15.25 points or 0.72% from its previous closing of Rs. 2105.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2110.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2121.60 and Rs. 2084.35 respectively. So far 271796 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2368.80 on 16-Sep-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1830.00 on 29-Jan-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2135.00 and Rs. 2084.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1411345.44 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 50.59%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 38.20% and 11.03% respectively.

Reliance Industries has reported fall of 7.52% in its net profit at Rs 8,595 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2021 as compared to Rs 9,294 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 72.18% at Rs 94,158 crore for Q1FY22 as compared Rs 54,687 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 7.25% in its net profit attributed to the owners at Rs 12,273 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2021 as compared to Rs 13,233 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 55.39% at Rs 148,591 crore for Q1FY22 as compared Rs 95,626 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
