Central Bank of India reports 70% rise in Q1 consolidated net profit

Central Bank of India has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2021.

The bank has reported 51.80% rise in its net profit of Rs 205.58 crore for the quarter under review as against net profit of Rs 135.43 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the bank decreased 7.15% at Rs 6245.54 crore for Q1FY22 as compared Rs 6726.68 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the bank has reported 70% rise in its net profit of Rs 250.27 crore for the quarter under review as against net profit of Rs 147.21 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the bank decreased by 7.15% at Rs 6269.14 crore for Q1FY22 as compared Rs 6751.86 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
