BHEL shines as its consolidated net loss narrows to Rs 447 crore in Q1

Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) is currently trading at Rs. 60.25, up by 0.80 points or 1.35% from its previous closing of Rs. 59.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 57.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 61.30 and Rs. 57.20 respectively. So far 5063043 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 79.50 on 09-Jun-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 26.75 on 16-Oct-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 64.20 and Rs. 57.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 20909.79 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 63.17 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 17.06 % and 19.76 % respectively.

BHEL has reported net loss at Rs 445.40 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2021 as compared to net loss of Rs 897.15 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 42.65% at Rs 2976.29 crore for Q1FY22 as compared Rs 2086.43 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported net loss attributed to the owners at Rs 447.48 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2021 as compared to net loss of Rs 892.83 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 42.19% at Rs 2966.77 crore for Q1FY22 as compared Rs 2086.43 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
