PVR has inaugurated another Multiplex located at ‘Orin mall Bangalore’, Malleshwaram (West) in Bangalore in the State of Karnataka. This Multiplex is comprised of Eleven Screens out of which five screens with 1785 seats have become operational from November 11, 2012, equipped with latest Sound and Projection System.
With the opening of this Multiplex at Bangalore, the total screen count has gone up to 210 screens at 46 locations across 27 cities in 12 states and 1 Union Territory. The opening of this Cinema is a part of PVR’s organic growth strategy of pan India expansion and increasing its presence in major cities.
PVR is engaged in the business of film exhibition. The company operates other business such as providing content, film distribution and Entertainment Park through its subsidiaries. Currently, the company has achieved the status of being India’s largest cinema chain.
