Bank of Maharashtra’s total deposits up 14% in Q2FY22

Bank of Maharashtra’s deposits grew 14.47% to Rs 1,81,572 crore (Provisional) as of September 30, 2021 (Q2FY22), as compared to Rs 1,58,626 crore on a yearly basis. On a quarterly basis, the deposits were up 4.13% from Rs 1,74,378 crore as of June 2021.  Gross Advance stood at Rs 1,15,265 crore as of September 30, 2021, posting a 11.47% rise in year-on-year (YoY) terms against Rs 1,03,408 crore as of September 30, 2020 and in quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis stood at Rs 1,10,592 crore in June 2021.

CASA Ratio stood at 53.91% as of September 30, 2021 versus 53.04% as of June 30, 2021. The CASA was up 22.17% to Rs 97,889 crore against Rs 80,125 crore YoY and up 5.84% from Rs 92,490 crore QoQ.

Bank of Maharashtra offers several products and services in personal banking such as deposits, savings, personal loans, educational loans, demat services, credit cards, etc. The Bank also offers services to agricultural and SME sectors.
