DCB Bank zooms on getting in-principle approval to invest up to Rs 2.04 crore in Svakarma Finance

DCB Bank is currently trading at Rs. 95.85, up by 5.00 points or 5.50% from its previous closing of Rs. 90.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 90.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 97.30 and Rs. 90.80 respectively. So far 238470 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 126.50 on 06-Jan-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 75.75 on 30-Oct-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 97.45 and Rs. 89.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2976.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 14.87%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 49.19% and 35.94% respectively.

DCB Bank has received in-principle approval to invest up to Rs 2.04 crore at par to acquire 09.90% shares of the post issue equity share capital of Svakarma Finance. Svakarma Finance, is a Non Banking Financial Company ('NBFC') engaged in lending to Micro, Small and Medium enterprises to meet their business requirements and to other financial institutions engaged in lending to these enterprises. The objective of the acquisition will be equity investment.

DCB Bank is one of the emerging private sector banks in India. The Bank is amongst the first private sector banks to waive advisory fee and service charge for Mutual Fund investment.
