Kesoram Industries soars on repaying outstanding debt of Rs 285 crore

Kesoram Industries is currently trading at Rs. 66.05, up by 0.95 points or 1.46% from its previous closing of Rs. 65.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 65.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 66.50 and Rs. 65.30 respectively. So far 54542 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 90.18 on 04-Aug-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 51.16 on 08-Feb-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 68.30 and Rs. 64.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1615.74 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 49.15%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 9.57% and 38.40% respectively.

Kesoram Industries has repaid Rs 285 crore of its outstanding debt. The remaining outstanding debt is Rs 1,708 crore. The company had earlier repaid Rs 55 crore. The company had raised Rs 399 crore through a rights offer.

Kesoram Industries is engaged in the manufacture of cement, tyres, tubes, rayon, paper, heavy chemicals and spun pipes.
