Bank of Maharashtra trades in green on the bourses

Bank of Maharashtra is currently trading at Rs. 17.75, up by 0.25 points or 1.43% from its previous closing of Rs. 17.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 17.35 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 18.30 and Rs. 15.85 respectively. So far 3013246 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 31.95 on 07-Jun-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 17.00 on 24-Feb-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 18.30 and Rs. 15.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 12013.94 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 90.97%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 3.82% and 5.21% respectively.

Bank of Maharashtra (BoM) has received the best bank award at national level under the public sector category from State Forum of Bankers' Clubs Kerala (SFBCK). The award for 2020-21 was given to the bank upon analysing performance with a 360-degree view on various business parameters with a scoring model. The parameters included growth in deposits, advances, net profit, capital adequacy, credit deposit ratio, quality of assets, profit per employee and return on assets.

Bank of Maharashtra offers several products and servies in personal banking such as deposits, savings, personal loans, educational loans, demat services, credit cards, etc. The Bank also offers services to agricultural and SME sectors.
