ITC is looking to widen its product portfolio in the dairy segment and tap the low milk consumption in West Bengal. The company wants to widen the range of dairy products from milk, ghee, curd, lassi, paneer. The company keeps studying consumers' requirement and accordingly launching new products.
The company now has a presence in West Bengal and Bihar (for dairy business) and will continue to concentrate on these two states for the next few years.
ITC has business a interests in cigarettes, hotels, paperboards and specialty papers, packaging, agribusiness, packaged foods and confectionery, information technology, branded apparel, personal care, stationery, safety matches and other FMCG products.
