Axis Bank reports 50% rise in Q4 consolidated net profit

Axis Bank has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2022.

The bank has reported a rise of 53.82% in its net profit at Rs 4,117.77 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 2,677.06 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 15.57% at Rs 21,999.58 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 19,035.12 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the bank has reported a rise of 49.78% in its net profit at Rs 4,434.00 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 2,960.40 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 15.87% at Rs 23,000.69 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 19,850.11 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2022, the bank has reported a rise of 97.70% in its net profit at Rs 13,025.48 crore as compared to Rs 6,588.50 crore for the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 9.24% at Rs 82,597.37 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 75,609.83 crore for year ended March 31, 2021.

For the year ended March 31, 2022, on the consolidated basis, the bank has reported a rise of 95.31% in its net profit at Rs 14,164.35 crore as compared to Rs 7,252.39 crore for the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 10.44% at Rs 86,114.19 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 77,974.28 crore for year ended March 31, 2021.
