Ashok Leyland reports 42% rise in April sales

Ashok Leyland has reported 42 per cent rise in its total sales, including exports, at 11847 units in April 2022 over the same month last year. Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) sales were stood at 4159 units in April 2022. Medium and heavy commercial vehicles (M&HCV) Trucks and bus sales stood at 7084 units and 604 units, respectively.  

Domestic sales in April 2022 stood at 11197 units. Domestic LCV sales stood at 4124 units in April 2022. Domestic M&HCV Trucks and bus sales stood at 6805 units and 268 units, respectively. 

Ashok Leyland, the Hinduja Group flagship company in India, is engaged in the manufacturing of commercial vehicles and related components. The company’s products include buses, trucks, engines, defense and special vehicles.
