Bank of Baroda turns black in Q4

Bank of Baroda has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2022.

The bank has reported net profit at Rs 1778.77 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net loss of Rs 1046.50 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the bank decreased by 3.75% at Rs 20695.90 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 21501.94 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the bank has reported net profit at Rs 2031.55 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net loss of Rs 740.79 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the bank decreased by 5.30% at Rs 22470.46 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 23728.04 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2022, the bank has reported above 8-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 7272.28 crore as compared to Rs 828.95 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the bank decreased by 2.47% at Rs 81364.73 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 83429.03 crore for year ended March 31, 2021.

For the year ended March 31, 2022, on the consolidated basis, the bank has reported 5-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 7849.69 crore as compared to Rs 1547.67 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the bank decreased by 2% at Rs 87780.19 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 89567.63 crore for year ended March 31, 2021.
