Dhampur Sugar Mills trades higher on the BSE

Dhampur Sugar Mills is currently trading at Rs. 52.65, up by 0.80 points or 1.54% from its previous closing of Rs. 51.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 52.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 53.55 and Rs. 51.50 respectively. So far 8591 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 75.40 on 24-Sep-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 29.20 on 03-Jan-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 55.00 and Rs. 51.45 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 285.16 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 55.91% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 6.15% and 37.93% respectively.

Dhampur Sugar Mills has delisted the company’s Global Depository Shares (GDS) from Luxembourg Stock Exchange with effect from December 31, 2012. The company has taken this step pursuant to conversion of GDS issued in terms of offering memorandum dated April 01, 2006 in to equity shares.

Dhampur Sugar Mills is engaged in manufacturing sugar, ethanol, chemicals and plantation white sugar. It is the first and the largest manufacturer of refined sulphurless sugar in the India.
