EMCO, one of the leading Indian electrical goods manufacturing company and an end to end solution provider in power transmission and distribution sector, has bagged an order from PowerGrid Corporation of India worth Rs 458 crore. As per the order EMCO has to execute 800 kv HVDC transmission line tower package TW-05 from Champa to Kurukshetra. This transmission line will carry 6000 MW power from power generating stations in Chhattisgarh to Northern Grid.
EMCO is engaged in manufacturing of transformers, transmission towers, meters and also works as Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) contractor providing services in Transmission & Distribution (T&D) segment.
