Bank of India reports over 8-fold jump in Q4 consolidated net profit

Bank of India has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2022.

The bank has reported over two-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 606.27 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 250.19 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 2.58% at Rs 11443.46 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 11155.53 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the bank has reported over eight-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 688.14 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 83.15 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 2.67% at Rs 11,553.31 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 11,252.55 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2022, the bank has reported over one-fold jumps in its net profit at Rs 3404.70 crore as compared to Rs 2160.30 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the bank decreased by 3.13% at Rs 45954.56 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 47441.31 crore for year ended March 31, 2021.

For the year ended March 31, 2022, on the consolidated basis, the bank has reported 67.69% rise in its net profit at Rs 34,92.57 crore as compared to Rs 20,82.75 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the bank decreased by 3.06% at Rs 46291.46 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 47750.38 crore for year ended March 31, 2021.
