BPCL’s consolidated net profit slips 74% in Q4FY22

Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2022.

The company has reported 82.16% fall in its net profit at Rs 2,130.53 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 11,940.13 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 23.63% at Rs 1,24,148.52 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 1,00,419.63 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 73.66% fall in its net profit at Rs 2,802.74 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 10,641.94 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 23.31% at Rs 1,23,819.19 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 1,00,409.99 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2022, the company has reported 53.84% fall in its net profit at Rs 8,788.73 crore as compared to Rs 19,041.67 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 42.33% at Rs 4,35,818.90 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 3,06,209.43 crore for year ended March 31, 2021.

For the year ended March 31, 2022, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported 32.55% fall in its net profit at Rs 11,681.50 crore as compared to Rs 17,319.83 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 41.86% at Rs 434,838.16 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 3,06,519.32 crore for year ended March 31, 2021.
