Lux Industries has received an approval for capital expenditure of Rs 50 crore for capital expansion plans at Ludhiana and for other Capital expenditure of the Company. The company has participated in e-auction organized by Punjab Small Industries & Export Corporation and has been allotted plot No. A-10, Phase V, Focal point, Ludhiana measuring about 34,067 sq. yards.
Majority of the capital expenditure would be for capacity expansions in production and storage. The company is also working towards more flexibility in terms of capacity with enhanced mechanical tools and scientific way of working according to the market demand. The Board of Directors of the Company at their meeting held on May 30, 2022 has approved the same.
Lux Industries is primarily engaged in the manufacturing and sales of knitwears. The company has operations in India and caters to both domestic and international markets.
