Ashok Leyland has reported 51 per cent rise in its total sales, including exports, at 14121 units in August 2022 over the same month last year. Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) sales were stood at 5742 units in August 2022. Medium and heavy commercial vehicles (M&HCV) Trucks and bus sales stood at 7325 units and 1054 units, respectively.
Domestic sales in August 2022 stood at 13301 units. Domestic LCV sales stood at 5630 units in August 2022. Domestic M&HCV Trucks and bus sales stood at 7051 units and 620 units, respectively.
Ashok Leyland, the Hinduja Group flagship company in India, is engaged in the manufacturing of commercial vehicles and related components. The company’s products include buses, trucks, engines, defense and special vehicles.
