Vikas Lifecare surges on acquiring 30% stake in Ardh Sainik Canteen

Vikas Lifecare is currently trading at Rs. 5.09, up by 0.16 points or 3.25% from its previous closing of Rs. 4.93 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 5.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 5.16 and Rs. 4.80 respectively. So far 2048379 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 8.15 on 21-Jan-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 3.11 on 29-Nov-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 5.16 and Rs. 4.57 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 684.85 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 13.31%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 12.21% and 74.47% respectively.

Vikas Lifecare, as a measure of forward integration, in order to extend its retail footprint across India, taking another giant leap forward while moving at lightening pace on the path of engraving a strong foot-hold in the Consumer Products Retail Market Segment, has acquired 30% stakes in the Ardh Sainik Canteens in an all-cash deal of Rs 15 crore from its existing stakeholders.

The company has been eyeing a space for itself in the retail market segment including E Commerce Market Place for the Consumer Products including the Agro Products business segment expanding exponentially during the recent 12-18 months. Being a strategic investment, Vikas Lifecare commits itself for expansion and broad-basing of Ardh Sainik Canteens business operations.

Vikas Lifecare is engaged in trading and manufacturing of polymer, rubber compounds and additives for plastics, synthetic & natural rubber.
