BHEL to send its engineers to take troubleshooting lessons at Germany

30 Jan 2013 Evaluate

State run, BHEL is planning to send its engineers to Germany to take troubleshooting lessons, for building a 250-MW lignite-fired thermal power plant based on the environment-friendly circulating fluidized bed combustion (CFBC) with Neyveli Lignite Corporation. Public sector power equipment major is also responsible for supplying equipments at this plant.

This project is delayed by three years from the originally scheduled date of commissioning, because of some technical issues. To tackle these technical issues a small team of engineers will be sent to Germany to learn from technology supplier Lurgi Lentjes how to fix the technical snags.
