Nava Bharat Ventures shines on the bourses

Nava Bharat Ventures is currently trading at Rs 200.00, up by 4.25 points or 2.17% from its previous closing of Rs 195.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 199.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs 206.60 and Rs 197.05 respectively. So far 19236 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 226.70 on 22-Feb-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs 147.40 on 31-Aug-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 206.60 and Rs 185.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 1786.20 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 43.21% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 32.37% and 24.43% respectively.

Nava Bharat Ventures has reduced its holding in Kinnera Power Company (KPCL) to 26% pursuant to which KPCL has ceased to be a subsidiary company.

Nava Bharat Ventures is engaged in power generation, sugar and ferro alloys and enlisted the services of a Chinese company, Sepco, to implement the power plant project, after securing various mandatory clearances from the Zambian Government.
