Ashok Leyland reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2022.

The company has reported net profit of Rs 199.31 crore for Q2FY23 as compared to net loss of Rs 83.01 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. Total income of the company increased by 85% to Rs 8,285.94 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 4,478.78 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported net profit of Rs 185.80 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net loss Rs 83.55 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 72.19% to Rs 9,620.28 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 5,586.91 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.
