Ashok Leyland has reported 45% growth in its total sales, including exports, at 18138 units in December 2022 over the same month last year. Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) sales were stood at 5876 units in December 2022. Medium and heavy commercial vehicles (M&HCV) Trucks and bus sales stood at 10143 units and 2119 units, respectively.
Domestic sales in December 2022 stood at 17112 units. Domestic LCV sales stood at 5713 units in December 2022. Domestic M&HCV Trucks and bus sales stood at 10069 units and 1330 units, respectively.
Ashok Leyland, the Hinduja Group flagship company in India, is engaged in the manufacturing of commercial vehicles and related components. The company’s products include buses, trucks, engines, defense and special vehicles.
