The South Indian Bank shines on turning black in Q3

The South Indian Bank is currently trading at Rs. 17.40, up by 0.80 points or 4.82% from its previous closing of Rs. 16.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 16.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 17.55 and Rs. 16.50 respectively. So far 5490040 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 21.80 on 15-Dec-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 7.27 on 20-Jun-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 18.75 and Rs. 16.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3651.83 crore.

The Institutions and Non-Institutions held 21.77% and 78.23% stake in the company.

The South Indian Bank has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2022 (Q3FY23)

The bank has reported net profit at Rs 102.75 crore for Q3FY23 as compared to net loss of Rs 50.31 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. However, total income of the bank decreased by 1.53% to Rs 1864.09 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1893.11 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the bank has reported net profit at Rs 103.01 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net loss of Rs 50.40 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the bank decreased by 1.54% to Rs 1863.87 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1893.01 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.
