Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) has reported results for fourth quarter (Q4) and year ended March 31, 2023.

The company has reported 34.19% fall in its net profit at Rs 598.11 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 908.87 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company marginally increased by 1.82% at Rs 8338.61 crore for Q4FY23 as compared to Rs 8189.46 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 33.04% fall in its net profit at Rs 611.00 crore for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2023 as compared to Rs 912.47 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company marginally increased by 1.92% at Rs 8338.61 crore for Q4FY23 as compared to Rs 8181.72 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2023, the company has reported 9.09% rise in its net profit at Rs 447.55 crore as compared to Rs 410.24 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 10.66% at Rs 23879.75 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 21578.90 crore for year ended March 31, 2022.

For the year ended March 31, 2023, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported 7.35% rise in its net profit at Rs 477.39 crore as compared to Rs 444.71 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 10.61% at Rs 23853.57 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 21565.63 crore for year ended March 31, 2022.
