Ashok Leyland has reported marginal fall of 1% in its total sales, including exports, at 13134 units in May 2023 over the same month last year. Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) sales were stood at 4864 units in May 2023. Medium and heavy commercial vehicles (M&HCV) Trucks and bus sales stood at 6660 units and 1610 units, respectively.
Domestic sales in May 2023 stood at 12378 units. Domestic LCV sales stood at 4788 units in May 2023. Domestic M&HCV Trucks and bus sales stood at 6573 units and 1017 units, respectively.
Ashok Leyland, the Hinduja Group flagship company in India, is engaged in the manufacturing of commercial vehicles and related components. The company’s products include buses, trucks, engines, defense and special vehicles.
