Oriental Carbon & Chemicals has restarted its operation at plant located at SEZ, Mundra, Kutch, Gujarat on June 18, 2023. No significant loss has been estimated. Earlier, the company had shutdown Mundra Plant due to severe Cyclonic Storm ‘Biparjoy’.

Oriental Carbon & Chemicals belongs to the JP Goenka Group of Companies. The company is a globally respected manufacturer of Insoluble Sulphur. It has many years of experience in manufacturing this product.
