Ashok Leyland reports many fold jump in Q1 consolidated net profit

Ashok Leyland has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2023 (Q1FY24).

The company has reported over 8 - fold jump in its net profit at Rs 576.42 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 68.05 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 13.69% at Rs 8240.47 crore for Q1FY24 as compared Rs 7248.49 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported many fold jump in its net profit at Rs 584.49 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2023 as compared to Rs 21.94 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 14.54% at Rs 9735.45 crore for Q1FY24 as compared Rs 8499.54 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
