BHEL surges on inking MoU with Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises

Bharat Heavy Electricals is currently trading at Rs. 187.50, up by 2.50 points or 1.35% from its previous closing of Rs. 185.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 185.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 188.85 and Rs. 185.75 respectively. So far 185975 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 274.45 on 04-Apr-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 174.50 on 28-Mar-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 188.85 and Rs. 174.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 46198.45 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 67.72% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 27.39% and 4.88% respectively.

Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) has inked the memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the year 2013-14 with the Ministry of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises. The MoU was signed by CMD of the company and Secretary of Heavy Industry.
