Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) has secured the order from NTPC (a Govt. of India Enterprise) for setting up the 2x800 MW Supercritical Thermal Power Project Stage-II at Lara in Chhattisgarh through International Competitive Bidding. Scope of work includes Design, Engineering, Manufacture, Supply, Construction, Erection, Testing & Commissioning with Civil & Structural works for the EPC Package with Steam Generator capable of Biomass co-firing, Steam Turbine, Generator & Auxiliaries, emission control systems, control and instrumentation, balance of plant packages etc.

Ajanta Pharma has received final approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) to market Topiramate Extended-Release Capsules, 25 mg, 50 mg, 100 mg and 200 mg. Topiramate is the generic version of Supernus Pharmaceuticals Inc’s Trokendi XR. As per the settlement with the innovator, Ajanta can launch Topiramate on February 1, 2026 or earlier under certain circumstances.

DCX Systems has executed a Joint Venture Agreement with ELTA Systems. ELTA and DCX concluded to enter into a joint venture by way of incorporating a jointly owned, private limited liability Israeli company (JVC), for the purposes of developing, producing and distributing, globally, obstacle detection solutions based on radar and optics technology for railway industry (the Business) all in accordance with and subject to the terms and conditions as set out in this Agreement.

Central Bank of India has raised Rs 1500 crore through allotment of BASEL III Compliant Tier II Bonds in the nature of debenture. The Capital Raising Committee of the Board at its meeting held on August 30, 2023 has allotted the same. The said Bonds will be listed on the wholesale Debt Market segment of the BSE.

Ramco Cements has completed the sale and transfer of its entire shareholding of 49,95,16,202 equity shares held in Lynks Logistics (Lynks) to Bundl Technologies (Bundl, operating under the brand name Swiggy) and simultaneously acquiring 24,18,915 Compulsory Convertible Preference Shares (CCPS) of Bundl, in consideration of the sale of shares.
