Tamilnad Mercantile Bank has opened two branches on September 1, 2023. The bank has opened one branch at Eldams Road, Alwarpet, Chennai in Tamil Nadu, while other at Kamuthi Kshathriya Nadar Uravinmurai Trust Shopping Complex, Ramanathapuram District, Tamil Nadu. Earlier, the bank had opened two branches in Tamil Nadu on August 3, 2023.
Tamilnad Mercantile Bank is one of the oldest private sector banks in the country, with a history of almost 100 years. It offers a wide range of banking and financial services primarily to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), agricultural and retail customers.
