Ashok Leyland has reported 9% growth in its total sales, including exports, at 19202 units in September 2023 as compared to 17549 units in September 2022. Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) sales stood at 6450 units in September 2023. Medium and heavy commercial vehicles (M&HCV) Trucks and bus sales stood at 10266 units and 2486 units, respectively.
Domestic sales in September 2023 stood at 18193 units. Domestic LCV sales stood at 6233 units in September 2023. Domestic M&HCV Trucks and bus sales stood at 10109 units and 1851 units, respectively.
Ashok Leyland, the Hinduja Group flagship company in India, is engaged in the manufacturing of commercial vehicles and related components. The company’s products include buses, trucks, engines, defense and special vehicles.
