ING Vysya Bank trades in green on BSE

ING Vysya Bank is currently trading at Rs 545.45, up by 2.60 points or 0.48% from its previous closing of Rs 542.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 545.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs 555.00 and Rs 541.00 respectively. So far 1254 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 627.40 on 22-Feb-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs 310.55 on 04-Jun-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 559.90 and Rs 501.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 8460.86 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 42.43% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 39.90% and 17.67% respectively.

ING Vysya Bank is likely to increase its presence in Punjab, Maharashtra and Gujarat with aims to fulfill the regulatory norm pertaining to minimum loan exposure to the agriculture segment. The private sector lender has about 13.5% loan exposure to agriculture segment which is less than the minimum exposure of 18% required as per the regulatory norms. The entity is also offering Kisan Credit Cards to famers to cover their credit requirements at the pre- and post-harvest stages.

The bank has reported 35.82% rise in its net profit at Rs 162.33 crore for third quarter ended December 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 119.52 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank has increased by 22.73% at Rs 1425.46 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1161.45 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011.
