Ushdev International shines on acquiring two companies

Ushdev International is currently trading at Rs. 321.65, up by 0.35 points or 0.11% from its previous closing of Rs. 321.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 321.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 323.75 and Rs. 320.25 respectively. So far 17,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 329.90 on 18-Apr-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 185.60 on 09-Aug-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 329.90 and Rs. 309.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1,030 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 47.58% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 18.32% and 34.10% respectively.

Ushdev International has acquired Maa Jai Jyotawali Steel and Hobli Property Management. It has acquired both the companies on March 31, 2013.

Ushdev International core activities are power generation and trading of steel. Steel trading being its parent business and doing well in that, the company was in an urge to get into an altogether new area, and thus started investing into power generation through windmills from 1997 onwards.
