PVR, entertainment major aims to have 500 screens in the country in the next two years. At present, the company has 360 screens at 86 cinemas in 38 cities and another 140 will be launched with Rs 280 crore investment. PVR has introduced its nine screen complex at Lulu Mall, the largest mall in Kerala. The group is likely to launch 50 screens in the next 3-4 years in Kerala and will be looking at cities like Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode.
PVR is engaged in the business of film exhibition. The company operates other business such as providing content, film distribution and Entertainment Park through its subsidiaries. Currently, the company has achieved the status of being India’s largest cinema chain.
