SML Isuzu surges on reporting 20% jump in April 2013 sales

SML Isuzu is currently trading at Rs 313.50, up by 9.90 points or 3.26% from its previous closing of Rs 303.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 309.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs 314.85 and Rs 307.50 respectively. So far 29 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 501.00 on 24-Dec-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs 280.00 on 28-Mar-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 314.85 and Rs 301.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 439.36 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 43.96% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 20.14% and 35.90% respectively.

SML Isuzu has reported a jump of 20.03% in April 2013 sales which stood at 731 vehicles as against 609 vehicles sold in April, 2012.

SML Isuzu manufactures a range of vehicles such as trucks, buses and ambulances. The company has launched products like 4WD, Samrat, Sartaj, Dual Cab, Supreme-8 tonner, Truck- Super 12, Super ALFD and many more.
