Multiplex operator PVR is reportedly planning to take its luxury format Director's Cut (DC) to Asian markets such as Thailand, Singapore and Hong Kong. Director's Cut is a high-end format with theatres, restaurants, books and merchandise.
Its tickets are priced up to Rs 1,200 on a weekend and provide facilities such as in-cinema dining, movie on demand. In this luxury format, theatres have restaurants and sell books and merchandise. The company has one DC in Delhi. It is planning to take DC to places like Bangalore, Noida and Gurgaon.
