Ashok Leyland reports 7% fall in January sales

Ashok Leyland has reported 7% fall in its total sales, including exports, at 15939 units in January 2024 as compared to 17200 units in January 2023. Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) sales stood at 5721 units in January 2024. Medium and heavy commercial vehicles (M&HCV) Trucks and bus sales stood at 7770 units and 2448 units, respectively.     

Domestic sales in January 2024 stood at 14899 units. Domestic LCV sales stood at 5444 units in January 2024. Domestic M&HCV Trucks and M&HCV bus sales stood at 7581 units and 1874 units, respectively. 

Ashok Leyland, the Hinduja Group flagship company in India, is engaged in the manufacturing of commercial vehicles and related components. The company’s products include buses, trucks, engines, defense and special vehicles.
